Mac vs PC
The Mac vs PC dispute has been around for what seems to be as long as the war between Israel and Palestine. Although the battle between PC users and Mac users has not escalated to that extent, users of these opposing computers religiously stand by their system. So for those who have been living under a rock for the past 15 years, and are about to buy their first computer, what will you choose?
I am sure you have heard many compelling arguments that heavily back both systems, but it seems like everyone has a biased opinion, so who can you really trust? Well, truthfully I believe it’s a matter of user preference. I personally use a PC, but I am not completely committed to it. I believe both PC and Mac can perform all of the tasks you need to do on your computer equally well. Really, it all depends on how you like to operate. Macs are a bit more pricey, and this may have been the deciding factor in my choice, but if I had the money I am not sure what I would have chosen.
Mac seems to cater more to the entertainment industry and Mac users will have access to simple programs that pertain to music, video and arts. With Mac users having these user-friendly programs at their disposal, they can conserve the brainpower needed to operate these programs and put it to creative use instead.
At the same time, you can find programs on a PC that operate just like those on a Mac, they may not be the same, but they come pretty close. PCs are usually windows based, and if you work in an office then operating windows is a must. Mac users can download windows as well, but it’s not quite the same without that right-click button. So when deciding what you should get, it’s all a matter of what you prefer. Both Macs and PCs have their pros and cons, but I like to think that I live in a world where all computers are created equally.
