Marketing Internships at J.M. Field Marketing
As summer approaches, many students find themselves in search of internship opportunities. Looking for the right internship can sometimes be a daunting task. Appealing perks, a chance to contribute to meaningful work and employer takeaway opportunities are only a few of the factors students look into. Marketing students interested in learning web design & online marketing, graphic design, direct marketing, fulfillment services and materials production should take note of upcoming marketing internship openings.
According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers’ (NACE) 2012 Internship & Co-op Survey:
- Intern conversion hit an all-time high in 2012
- Employers extended offers to 61.2% of their Class of 2011 interns
- 86.5% of these offers were accepted
- Employers converted 58.6% of their Class of 2011 interns into full-time hires
- More than 40% of 2012 expected new college hires will come from employers’ own internship and co-op programs
These trends will continue in 2013 as intern hiring is expected to increase 8.5 percent from last year, while co-op hiring is expected to jump by 7.5 percent.
We offer both short-term (4 week) and long-term (8 week) marketing internships for students seeking experience and insight into the world of marketing. Our internship program gives students the chance to discover and explore different areas of our marketing services such as graphic design & direct marketing, fulfillment services, web design & online marketing and materials production.
Alexis Kovic, Creative Director at J.M. Field Marketing, said “Interns here are given the opportunity to experience first-hand what it takes to run a marketing campaign from conception to completion.”
A summer marketing internship with us is the perfect opportunity to experience a career in marketing and fulfillment and learn from some of the most experienced professionals in the industry. The opportunity for a well-rounded marketing internship that covers many aspects of marketing is the perfect opportunity for marketing students that haven’t chosen a targeted field of study or emphasis within marketing.
