Answer:

Space and time management, including labor, is factored in when determining the cost of fulfillment. J.M. Field Fulfillment offers spacious, well-maintained and extremely organized facilities. We also have a well laid-out floor plan and that, along with All In View, allows us to pick and pack your inventory at the drop of a hat.

Specific Fulfillment Costs

Handling, storage, operations administration and general administrative expenses all come into play when deciding fulfillment warehouse costs. Strong labor that is required for heavy lifting  and costs associated with equipment, like the cost of fuel and electricity, are taken into account with the Handling assessment. Storage factors into the cost because goods at rest require the costs associated with operating the fulfillment warehouses each month. Operational expenses are incurred for supervision, information technology, insurance, taxes etc. General administrative expenses take into account the allocation of resources and fulfillment managers who handle separate accounts. Also, foreign shipment processing is a bit more expensive than domestic shipping processing because of the associative paper work.

All things considered, J.M. Field Fulfillment is still able to offer aggressive pricing on fulfillment services. Costs for material storage are accrued and billed monthly based on standard size pallets. Pallets that exceed standard dimension size of 48” x 40” x 60” are counted and billed as two pallets. Product receiving also comes at a low cost. Boxes received are as low as $1.00 per box and pallet unloading is $5.00 per pallet, with both services billed monthly. It is $400 to unload 20’ containers and $500 to unload 40’ containers. Any material that you send to us should be addressed to J.M. Field Fulfillment, Account Manager c/o Client Name. We do spot check inventory on inbound small packages and pallets and all material that follows standard receiving guidelines are available for order access within 24 hours. Product labeling is part of the fulfillment services that we provide. All inbound material must follow J.M. Field Fulfillment’s labeling specifications and your account support team will supply additional information. We are flexible on cost in general and will work out a deal that will support your company’s business goals.
