Fulfillment Questions:
Answer:
Fulfillment services may not seem extremely complicated, but they are best left to the experts. When you are a growing business, you have worries like trying to keep up with an increasing demand of shipments and accounting for every customer shipped to, dealing with returns, and possible damaged goods because of negligent handling, etc. All of these problems add up to a lot of lost and mishandled time and a risk of customer alienation. There is additional information you should know about J.M. Field’s fulfillment. As an expansive and precise fulfillment warehouse operation, we do not have a maximum or minimum volume of goods we handle. We also do not charge fulfillment minimums.
Returns
When you store your products with us, there is a chance that during fulfillment activity, goods will need to be returned due to customer dissatisfaction. In the event that returns need to be made, we work with you to determine how you would like to handle this occurrence. We will recommend satisfactory procedures and leave the final decision up to your discretion.
Faulty Goods
Following in this vein, there is a chance, although it doesn’t happen very often, that a customer will receive faulty goods. Whether they receive damaged or partially damaged product, the customer only has to contact a member of our customer service team, who will issue a return management authorization form (RMA), clear the issue right away and send out a replacement item. We will again work with you to determine the RMA process you would like to follow and customize a solution based on the industry and products shipped. We do shrink wrap though and take every care possible to send out goods in a way that will prevent damage in all circumstances.
Turnaround Time
Either way, one of our greatest strengths is turnaround time. We put great importance on delivering your products to your customers with little to no wait. We ship same day if the orders have arrived at our facilities by 3 p.m. and if we receive them later, they are out first thing in the morning the following day. We’ve partnered with top shipping and freight companies, FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS and other worldwide packaging delivery companies to offer you the best rates and services. We do ship to P.O. boxes but that is up to the shipping company’s discretion. UPS, for example, does not ship to P.O. boxes. We also offer tracking services. Our comprehensive All In View system generates notices which are pushed to the front end of a web site’s shopping cart, allowing you to monitor the delivery.
There are many things that can go wrong with fulfillment services, but most likely will not if you use a dedicated team of specialists with a proven record of success.
