Field Marketing's clients suggested a coupon redemption program, we devised a foolproof plan, starting with the creation of a coupon, a method of managing the redemption amounts and followed through with increased sales for the client. Coupon and redemption programs have been an effective way to promote a product or service for a long time.

Case Study
Understanding how these types of programs work, J.M. Field Marketing, with the approval of our client, developed a coupon that honored a discount of $1.00 on any 2 six-packs or 1 twelve-pack of beer. The coupon was designed, printed, padded and distributed to the client for use in stores. Upon the use of the coupons, the stores would mail them to J.M. Field Marketing directly, relieving the client of the responsibility. A spreadsheet was developed to show the entitled payout to each store. The client was billed for the redemption amount, which in turn was reimbursed to the stores.

The cost of the program was minimal. It consisted of designing the coupon as well as the printing and padding. The labor costs for managing the returned coupons, issuing the redemption amount to the client and reimbursing the stores was also included. The only additional cost was for the storage of the printed coupons for the term of one year while the program was running.

The entire project was handled by J.M. Field Marketing and rendered a success, doubling the amount of sales for the client. The program has been repeated annually and continues to deliver desirable results. Other projects with similar goals have been developed and managed by J.M. Field Marketing.
