Backend Marketing is the strategy of continually marketing your products and services to customers and turning one time customers into loyal clients. This strategy is vital to the continued success of your company. If you haven’t adopted this strategy as yet you’re leaving money on the table.

We all know it’s easier to sell a product or service to a current customer than to find a new one.  Plus, an existing customer is more likely to do business with you since they already know your company and the quality of service or products you provide. You should remain in contact with your customers by inviting them to read your blog, sending them newsletters and suggesting other items to complement a previously purchased product.

By utilizing backend marketing, you can build trust and grow your relationship with your customers by offering them products they need.  Although depending on what they need, you might need to customize your product or service to suit their needs. Former or inactive customers are also great people to market your products and services to because they already know you.

To increase the size of your backend clientele, you can offer discounts to current and past customers. They are really only an email or phone call away.  It takes a lot of time, money and effort to get a customer, so you should make sure that you are catering to their needs.  Having a solid backend will increase your company’s revenue.
