Question:
Is the ROI on jump drive / flash drive / external hard drives give away worth it? I need a give away priced between $10-$20 that a tech savvy audience could appreciate. Do you have any suggestions?
Answer:
I would think yes for a usb giveaway. There are specials every week like the below. Most want the 1 gig and everyone uses them these days.

Here are a couple ideas off the top of my head.
I would suggest a custom floating key chain for an inexpensive give away. With a custom shape you can incorporate your company’s logo to make your key chain stand out from other generic floating key chains.
A quality bag with a great imprint is always an excellent piece to give away. At a boat show like any other trade show there is often plenty of literature being given out to prospective buyers. Guests of trade show will often put all of their literature into the bag that appears to be the strongest and most comfortable to carry around for the day. If you provide a guest at your trade show booth with a quality bag your logo is sure to be on the outside for everyone to see for the rest of the day.
If your market is for high end buyers interested in large yachts then you might be interested in giving out custom imprinted USB drives. With a USB drive you can upload images and specs of large yachts that are currently on the market for sale but not at the boat show for the prospective buyer to see. USB drive can be customized both on the outside and on the inside. Typically with the outside of the USB you would print your company’s logo. On the inside you have the ability to upload company’s website every time you plug the USB drive into the computer.
