They say happiness is best shared, and what better way to share than expressing yourself through writing?
My name is Taylor, and I hail from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; however, I am currently pursuing a communications degree at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Go ‘Noles! Writing has been a passion of mine since I was little. I can date it back to about first grade when I won the Chicken Soup for the Soul story contest and won a t-shirt; at the time that t-shirt was as good as a gold medal to me. I think my true love of writing came from reading; throughout my life I have had a love affair with books. I love to read, and delve into the world in which the author created. Reading also allows for a reader’s own interpretation and inventive vision which I believe is lost in other forms of creative media, such as movies and television.
So, naturally, when I was offered a job to write articles and blogs I was elated.
I also enjoy painting, rock climbing and going to the beautiful beaches of my hometown. I believe one should make art in any way possible.
